Recently, our firm decided to do something special for our clients, above-and-beyond providing the most dedicated and knowledgeable legal advice possible. We decided to schedule our first ever Client Appreciation Day. The event was a great success, with fun had by all, and we will plan to do many more activities in the future to connect with clients in new and innovative ways.
Eghrari Wealth Training Law Firm Client Appreciation Day
The first ever Client Appreciation Day was held on Friday, July 18, 2016. The event took place at Bethpage Ballpark. Bethpage Ballpark is the home of the Long Island Ducks, which is a member of the Atlanta League of Professional Baseball and which is considered to be an independent minor league team. Bethpage Ballpark was the site of two past Atlanta League All-Star Games, including both the 2002 and 2010 games. The ballpark was designed by Batty Harvey Associates and HNTB Sports Architecture and the Ballpark is almost two decades old. Construction first broke ground on the ballpark in April of 1999, and the Ballpark first opened to the public in 2000.
During baseball games, Bethpage Ballpark has a seating capacity of 6,002 people. On our client appreciation day, we kept the event a little smaller! We reserved 300 seats total for the event. Because of the overwhelming response from our clients who wanted to attend, we ended up closing out the attendees list at a total of 323 people.
The event was a tremendous success for all attendees, as all of our clients were excited to bring their families to meet us and to take part in the activities planned. There was a meet and greet in a tent in front of the stadium. Mark’s Ferrari parked in the front of the tent attracted quite a lot of humorous commentary from our clients, including lots of questions about whether it would be raffled off (it wasn’t!)
At 6:30, the baseball game began. After the first inning, we also had a delicious picnic dinner which featured chicken, ribs, hotdogs, hamburgers and other stadium favorites.
In addition to showing appreciation to our clients during this fun event, we were also able to honor and celebrate one of our attorney’s important anniversaries. Christine Mennella had her 20th anniversary at Eghrari Wealth Training Law Firm. During the game, there was a very nice picture on the “Big Screen,” as well as a special congratulatory announcement.
Baseball Autographs for Everyone
Clients attending our client appreciation day got a fun and very special memento to take home after the event was over. Bud Harrelson, a former World Series Champion who was on the 1969 NY Mets team, handed out 300 autographed baseballs to our clients and posed for pictures with us. Bud Harrelson is a Long Islander whose baseball career spanned 1965 to 1980.
Harrelson anchored the NY Mets infield for 13 years, and during his baseball career he also played for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Texas Rangers. He was indicted into the New York Mets Hall of Fame in 198 and, to this day, he remains the only person in the history of the Mets to win two world series with the team. Both of the two wins were the first two in franchise history. His first winning game was in 1969 as a player, and he also had a win in 1986 as a coach for the World Champion Mets.
